Just in Case You Forgot

It's not often that prominent leaders of superpowers warn of nuclear war:

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on May 17,during a legal forum ahead of his participation to the G8 summit at Camp David, warned Western powers ,stating that a military intervention in the affairs of sovereign states could lead to war, even nuclear war.

Russian Prime Minister clearly referred to his country's position, contrary to the Western powers,on issues such as Syria and elsewhere in the Middle East.

"The introduction of all sorts of collective sanctions bypassing international institutions does not improve the situation in the world while reckless military operations in foreign states usually end up with radicals coming to power," Medvedev said.

“At some point such actions, which undermine state sovereignty, may well end in a full-blown regional war and even - I’m not trying to spook anyone - the use of nuclear weapons,” he told a legal forum in St. Petersburg.(91)

The breakdown of the global capitalist system really is leading us into a 1930's type of situation.
