The Deprived State of the U.S.

Back after touring around the country for a month or two, mostly in a car.

The amount of homelessness is truly shocking, and uniformly spread throughout the country.

We are in desperate need of squatters areas, much like the developing world. Unused public land where people can set up shop and mostly be left alone.

Much of the U.S. is poor (as in barely staying afloat) even by the standards of the developing world, and our cult of privatization, monopoly, and hyper-expensiveness is part of the lie that we are all rich.
